The Girl Named Flo
There once was a girl named Flo,
Who liked to watch the water flow.
One day she cried,
The water flow died.
Now young Flo watches the embers glow.
The Gnome from Rome
There was a little gnome from Rome
Who once found a comb that was chrome.
When found he did say,
“Who’ll stay until May,
To receive this nice comb from Rome?”
The Moon and The Sun
One day the moon said to the sun,
“Don’t you ever wish for some fun?”
The sun smiled and said,
“I would rather have bread
Than to waste my time with your fun.”
The Old Lady in Glasses
There was an old lady in glasses
Who moved as slow as molasses
To her family she said,
“When I’m finally dead
Please make my old bones into ashes.”
The Young Lad Named Brad
There once was a young lad named Brad,
Who thought ’twas all the world to be sad.
His mother once said,
“Don’t fill your life with dread.”
So now the young Brad is now glad.
The Young Lady Named Maggie
There once was a young lady named Maggie
Who began each day looking scraggy,
One morning she mused,
“Time to be less confused,
And to change from scraggy to Maggie.”
