The Day and The Night

The bright day
Revealing all the blemishes
Of every little thing.
The murky night
Providing the perfect
Environment for having fun.
People live by the day
Yet they prefer the night.

The Ocean

The gentle ocean
Tenderly caressing the sandy beach
One diminutive waver after another.
The raging sea
Beating the rugged coast
One immeasurable wave after another.

The Shadow

The stealthy shadow
Following me everywhere
Whenever I move,
Where ever I go,
To make me myself.
